has anybody replaced a 1976 grill with one from a 1974 or 1975?
the question... will it mount up correctly without modify?
I know the turn/marker lights are different but need to know if it's a clean swap otherwise.
Thanks, But... I really need a "definate" answer from someone who has done the swap...
I recall seeing someplace... a long time ago... somebody tried something similar and it didn't work... I forget the details but I'm trying to find a definative answer for someone else... all it takes is one very minor difference and this friend will have spent $$$$ on a part he can't use.
i have a 74 with a 76 grill on it...
Pinturbo75... it just mounted right up, nothing to modify and the turn/marker lights went right in the lense...
I would guess that if the 76 works on a 74... the reverse is true ?
I can attest absolutely that an earlier grill will fit perfectly in a 76 .... I did exactly that.
