Thanks in advance.

This is for a 73:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1973-FORD-MAVERICK-PINTO-GALAXIE-LTD-WINDOW-STICKER-/160533273006?pt=Motors_Manuals_Literature&hash=item25608759ae

That seller had 72 stickers up for sale last winter. Seller is vintageautoliterature. I purchased a 73 sticker for my station wagon and they are not folded, typed, or written on. I won't be filling mine out until I can get my mother's vintage type writer out to type it up.

Thanks Dave,

Some how I missed that in my search on ebay DHAAAAAAA.

I purchased one and look forward to receiving it.

Now I still need to get a copy of an original one to see how it is filled out and some of the options and prices that were available.

Thanks.

I went through the Ford thing for the history 999 report for my cars and I have what options were on my cars when they were new. Here is the link to that:

I would look up someone with an original Maverick or Mustang build sheet for an idea of how to fill it out properly, since those cars are more common than Pintos, and I'm sure they're all filled out the same, I don't see why not.

Ok Dave,

Well earlier this year I did call the Ford Customer Assistance 800 number, gave them my VIN number and in about 6 weeks I did receive a letter from the Ford CRC (Customer Relationship Center).  That letter contained a line by line decode of my VIN number, the build date of the vehicle and a listing of the original specifications and options at the time of manufacture.  So it did work for me.

Now you can see by my intro picture that the car is a 1972 two door sedan.  But my VIN # says it is a station wagon and I was always puzzled by that.  That is until I took the car to the Ford Nationals in Carlisle.  On Sunday (the last day of the show) this guy asked me if he could get a closer look at the car.  I said sure and he stepped over the chains and really got a good look top to bottom.  He then tells me "I think I built that car."

Well that sure got my attention as I am about the 5th owner and have only had the car for about a year.  There were some particular things about this one of a kind car that I asked about and he had the answers and explanations.  SO we both agreed that this was his build.  He said he built the car back in 1974 when he owned a collision shop.  The car is built from three different 1972 Pintos.  The front including dash and windshield and A pillars is from a station wagon, while the center and back half are from two different 2 door sedans.  Thus the station wagon VIN # on a my 2 door sedan.

Anyway, I guess I'll try to find some other Ford window stickers to see what they look like.  Thanks for your help.
