Once I get Brownie back on the road after the drive shaft swap, rear transmission seal and brake shoes, I will begin hauling all of my boxes of parts home to clean, touch up and paint what I can. After the cleaning is done I plan to organize everything into boxes, like all the dash vents in one box, another box of kick panels, another box of gauge cluster shells, another of e-brake covers, etc...
The cleaning and touch up stage of this process will be the longest part of it, but if I need to get something for one of my cars, I won't have to clean and detail it before putting on one of the cars, or at least not much. Also if someone needs something, I will be able to go straight to the packaging and shipping stage instead of cleaning the part before I send it out!
During the organization stage I will be doing a complete inventory with short notes/comments on the condition of such parts, in a notebook. This should help me, and all of you, know what I have available to the club!
I will probably end up with LESS storage space than I have now, as everything is pretty much crammed (carefully) into storage totes and nothing is really labeled. However, it will help me to get back to some boxes of things I can keep at home, so we shall see.
As I go through the final stages of separating interior from exterior, and engine to drive-train parts, I will be posting a shortened list of what I have (minus details, they will be available upon request), so if anyone needs something, I can get to it easily while the storage totes are right in front of me!
Wish me luck, I have over 200 items to go through, if not more!

Good luck, Dave. It sounds like quite an undertaking! :surprised:
