I had the same problem after I did he rear shoes in a 76 trunk. No pressure in the rear but the fronts were great. The brake light came on. I went through the system and after I cleaned up the proportioning block where the wire comes out the light went off and I got fluid from the back again. The system works but if I push hard on the brake I hear a clunk and then the fronts only. So I am waiting for a master cylinder and a proportioning block now.
I think that the proportioning valve is bad and it blocks off the rear like when you lose a line.
I have no idea on the ebrake cable mine are under.
Eric on wagon underneath leaf. Fred :)
