Back in the 70s when I had my last 72 it had a manual in the glove box. It was about the size of a Haynes manual ?
Would like one for my new 72. Good/mint shape.
Willing to mail to Canada for me ?
You have one Fred ?
A manual that fits in the glove box sounds like the owner's manual. If Fred does not have one, try ebay motors. Search on: Pinto owner* manual. There are several there presently.
It is the big service manual I'm talking about.
Although I've never bought from ebay, I had a look. Found a 71 manual. Want the 72.
There are numerous 72 Ford manuals on ebay. Search ebay motors on: 1972, Ford, (shop manual*,service manual*,factory manual*) -truck*, -courier, -radio. This ebay search string narrowed down the listings to 102 of mainly Ford manuals. Use copy and paste as ebay is senitive to spaces and commas.
At Amazon books, searching on "1972 Ford manual" gave 116 listings (not all Ford manuals).
I have usually found buying the complete sets cheaper than buying individual volumes (assuming you want the full set). Yes I have been occasionally disappointed when buying used books on ebay and at other used book stores, no guarantee's.
i also have found compleat sets cheaper than just 1 volume . ebay can be a great place but with all good there is always some bad. i have bought many repair books from ebay and a lot cheaper than from an autoparts store.
No need for a set. Just thought it would be nice to have an original to keep for the car.
Don't need one to work on it.
