I officially finished my first brake job on my 73 squire. The biggest hurdles I found was locating the New rotors for the front (found new thanks to oreilly autoparts) they are made in the USA. A few scrapes here on the hands when working on the rear drums, but all In all it was fun and rewarding and saved a ton of money.
drums are not much fun at all. but the disks aren't to bad! just think you did your first set without a bunch of instruction. At my school they have a class that lasts an entire semester on brakes. what a joke haha just take one side apart at a time and put it back together the same way it came apart.
Thanks carbomb at first the drums were a challenge, but it looking at allthe money I saved. The shop wanted almost 400.00 just in labor alone, plus they wanted me to find rotors and they wanted 200.00 parts now It's time for wash and wax and to my local car show.
