Hi! I owned a Pinto from 1976 to 1983...I just found the VIN and was wondering how I can see if anyone owns it!

BTW, our family owned 3 Pintos: my hatchback and two wagons!

maybe try posting some more info about it. Where did you own it (city and state) some info about the car like year, color, engine, trans or anything about it that might be a special item. If you have a picture that would be a big help (if you don't know how to post pics here, email it to me - cookieboystoys at yahoo dot com - and I'll post it for you)

since you sold it 28 years ago it would be a long shot but you need to help us out with as much info about the car as possible

It was a 1975 Pinto Runabout; it was brown metallic with pinstripes from nose to right behind the rear side window. The license plate was 466 POS.. It was purchased from Sanderson Ford in Granada Hills. I owned it in Los Angeles area in California from 1975 to 1983. I have the VIN, last numbers 56910.

I will have to look for a photo.

Thanks, all the info you can provide makes it that much easier to identify and us "pinto nuts" to provide any help we can. Please understand there may be no one here that has seen or knows of your car, there is no "registry" or any way for us to locate it unless some has seen it and reads this post.. remember, it is a long shot! that anyone has seen it or knows anything about it but we'll help when and where we can.
