Title: 1978 Mercury BOBCAT wagon
Post by: bbobcat75 on July 03, 2011, 02:01:53 PM
here is a pic of the wagon that i am going to fix rather then part out, it is a little rough looking in pic but have gave it a good scrub down and fixed a couple of things that where jerry riged together and what a nice little driver it has been so far, bought the car , then drove it about 150 miles home with not a single problem except for no radio!! but that is an easy fix!!
enjoy the pic of my new bobcat, never had a wagon nor a 2.3, but like it so far!!!
thanks
eric

Eric,

That wagon looks really nice in the pic. Nice to see that you are saving the car rather than parting it out.

thanks  r4pinto, done a couple of mods on the car so far, new carpet, header, new timing belt, rebuilt head, head gasket, all new rubber hose's, and new fuilds front to back, removed all emissions from car, got a set of cragar ss 13"rims and tires for it, cleaned the the crap out of the car inside and out. replaced door bushings, and strikers. fixed the sloppy shifter with a c clip, fixed brakes, replaced floor pan on pass.side and the list will keep going as longs as i have the car. final plans are to remove motor and trans for a 2.3 turbo and t5, 8 inch rear and repaint to the factory dk metalic blue.

thanks
