because I dont have one and I'm going to need one. Now back to the question, has anybody had any experience with an aftermarket heater ? ? ? .

Perhaps he did a turbo swap without the stubby blower motor and removed the heater core box all together? That's what comes to mind for me when I see these.

I have a friend who just left the blower hole open and that's his heater in his 73 turbo station wagon! lol

OK, here's the story. dave is correct, I am doing a turbo swap. I'll be using a Stinger  (or similar) header with a Holset HX/HY 35 turbo. I want a 3.5" downpipe, maby 4". I'm going to need all the room I can get on the exhaust side of the engine. the stock heater with the protruding blower motor had to go. the after market heater I referenced above is all self contained inside the cabin and fits basically in the same space the stock heater occupied. I plan of installing a 3 gauge pod in the panel where the heater controls were. I can't believe I am breaking new ground here. someone else has had to do this before, and I just wanted to get some feedback on there experience.  thus the reason for this post .
