Hey Guys,
Took a 2nd place trophy with my "all original" lime green 1972 Ford Pinto at local car show.
One of the cars I beat was a 1974-5 caprice Classic convertable owned by a fat guy that was raising hell with the judges after the show for getting beat by a Pinto. .. Gotta love it!!! Hehehe.

Great job Pintony! I wish I could see your car in person, looks great. Car people are funny when it comes to Pintos.Â
When I take mine to an all Ford show, it's received pretty well. If I take it to a cruise night the car people are fairly
indifferent but the general spectators love it. It brings back a lot of mostly good memories for people.

Sorry to disappoint you but no sarcasm intended, i am car show illiterate. I just look at the cars, i dont pay attention to what class is what. Put a pinto beside a maserati and ill look at the pinto.

I do not need to tell you I went home empty handed.

I never was much for showing my pinto until a year ago. Then at the third meet I won best in class for the unfinished class.
Pintony, Car looks great!!!! Keep showing the bean. You hardly ever see Pintos here in S. Carolina. We went to one of the biggest car shows in the South East just 2 weeks ago. It was a 4 day car show and did not see a single Pinto. Hopefully I will be through with mine by next year when it rolls around again,

I have Illinois Antique Veihicle tags for Kermit.
In Illinois as long as you have your A.V. plates you can run anything you want.
