Looked around and couln't find it...

Is there a list of "correct" colors by year for the Pinto?

There is... they made paint swatches (?) and the colors are also listed in the Ford Shop Manuals, body section. I have in my possession a '73, '74, and '75 but there aren't swatches, just what cars came in what color options.  ;)

Can you tell if the '74 appears to be correct?   It has a stripe down the hood.  It's a blue color I don't recall from the 1970's.

This is that Squire wagon, right?

I have never seen accent stripes on a Squire EVER... but that doesn't mean they didn't happen. I'll take a look and get back to you.  ;D

The stripes are not painted.  My dad put them on with adhesive type stickers.  They should come off and buff out.

Thanks, Blu Pinto.   Thanks, CTXMAN.   I'm hoping to return this car to "new stock" condition...give it what it deserves and bring it back to life.

I have seen that color blue on a Pinto before and know something similar is "correct" for a '72, I'm guessing it could be for '74 as well.
