Title: Pinto a/c question

I got a question regarding Pintos with a/c... I am looking at putting a/c in my 77 Pinto 2.3 automatic & was wondering how much power does the a/c take away from the car? Was wondering before I put the time & effort of installing a/c on the car.

Matt varies on OAT but about 5 HP average.  Fred    :)

Hmm.. that doesn't sound too horrible. I think I would be okay since I don't have too many hills around me.
