Iam building a 460 pinto and I was looking for pic's of other peoples 460 pintos. I have a 1980 and the fire wall is moves back 5" and it has a full frame in it with a 8.8 rear end in it for now. The tunnel has been changed to Iam going to use an ultra bell and put a turbo 350 I know it is a gm trans but it is a good deal on the bell. Iam going the use a pair of 460 fox body hooker headers not sure if they are going to work. I don't have alot of money so Iam trying to be cheap. and Iam looking for a rotten pinto/mustang II for wiring for the head light and so on it is all gone that is the way I got it. So if u live in Ontario let me know thanks. THIS IS MY FIRST POST ;D
Cannot help you with the monster motor or your other questions.
But, I grew up in Ont. Left in 79 for BC. Lived all over the place including now AB the last 7 years.
Sold this car back in the 70s.

Doubt very much that it still lives: Ont. is really hard on cars due to rust.
Keep an eye on all junk yards & craiglist etc for used cars. Never know when one will pop up.
Hello Todd, not to many build a 460 Pinto so you may have to be a bit more patient in your request. As always when doing a custom build, using a mixture of parts (GM and Ford) understand that you are likely in uncharted territory.
If you start a "I'm building this post" here ~~> http://www.fordpinto.com/your-project/ (http://www.fordpinto.com/your-project/)
and post some pictures you will get some responses with help and suggestions
There is one guy on this site thats has a 460. His name is Dan and lives in California. I dont see him on here much. I will try and find his site name so you can PM him.
I know his pinto was in the 2008 PCCA Calender!
I had started building one myself lost interest before finishing the rear end.
