How do I tell wich carb rebuild kit I need for my carb? I know it is a 5200 series. However I have made note that there are variations to this kit. Are there certain years for certain variations? Would like to know so I can get one. Thank you.
Jodi they normally come with extra parts for different year carbs.. This is what I have GP Sorensen 96-197A. Fred :)
I used the same Kit fred suggested. I think the differences is in what comes in the Kit.
Alright. I was asking because I saw a kit listed on ebay, but it listed only up to a 76? It was a cheap enough kit so I was wondering if it would work on my motor(carb) or not. I keep having fuel issues I think. Although I do have a more serious ticking coming from the head now and I need to pull it this week while I have a chance and look at it and or put the spare head on the car and hope for the best! Here is the ebay link if someone could tell me if it will work or not. Or how to tell if I have the right carb for it etc. Thanks. Also, Fred, I have not forgotten, but work has me part time now, so we are squeeking by. Do what I gotta! Thanks.
