To start off with I went & got 4 new tires today at Tire Discounters & my car got more looks & compliments than I thought were possible in her rough shape. That made me feel good, considering she is almost all the way stripped to the original paint.
It gets better...
While I was outside sanding my car to strip the rattle can paint I noticed this Ford Ranger was stopped by the car. I look up, turn the sander off & the guy smiles, nods his head & gives me a thumbs up. I nod my head & smile.
It feels so good to get the looks while working on a car that so few would consider a piece of junk.
I almost caused a car accident yesterday from someone trying to take a picture of my car as I was driving it. Yep, everyone loves a Pinto
I've had more people come up to me at gas stations to talk about my Pinto than any other car I've ever owned. Some want to know how much I would take for it. NOT FOR SALE.
Russ
I like those that use the line "everything has its price" then get mad when you tell them no amount of money will buy it lol.
I always throw out a HUGE number when people ask me how much. If they think I am crazy then I say "that's my price"
Way to go Pinto people--Things are looking up.
WE WILL SHOW THEM WHAT PINTOS ARE ALL ABOUT!!!!

lol. Hi everyone. Sorry ive been off here for a while. Been working on mine. About done and hope to have it rolling for the Stampede (Topeka Ks area and at Specks Bar/Grill for lunch). I put it in the St Patricks Day parade in March. People loved it. Lots of thumbs up and smiles. Theres only a hand full of them running around out of the over 3 million that they made. Im like Russ and everyone else "NOT FOR SALE".
