Well, now that I finally installed a tach in my car, I can say that at I'm running 2400rpm @ 60mph with my T-5. (basically stock 2.3) I checked my speed with my GPS as my speedo is 5mph fast.
Should hopefully get me decent mileage for the stampede.
Tire size is P195/65 14 on 14"X7" wheels, rear end ratio is 3:55 (8 inch from an early Mustang II)
I remember my first Pinto in 1973 ran at 3000rpm at 60mph with a 2.0 and a 3:40 rear.
