DAMN IT BOY. That's cool.  I would love to see that cruisin around my neighborhood.   Would be a cool  thing thing to see at the all ford national's at carlisle, pa this june.   Just something to think about.  I like it better w/o the stickers. Â
definatly sweet....but i really hate those body side moldings, they have to go!
Cool Greg,
He's got a new toy, He's got a new toy,
Love it,
Whats it like trying to look over that Pro Stock Scoop???? :o
Hey Brad,it's pretty easy to see over the scoop,I thought it would be a problem but once I sat down in the car I could see right over it. ;D
Sold the (inferior) motor and trans. now it's time to start finding interior stuff,I am switching it over from light brown to black
Just won a new headliner on ebay,so hopefully more parts will start showing up for my car!!!!!
I-MUST-MAKE-SHINEY ;D ;D ;D

Nice Piece! I guess we can excuse the small block! (HEH-HEH!) I bet it rips! What rear suspension set up is under there? 4 link with leafs? You should ditch the leafs in favor of fully adjustable coil-overs, I'll bet you hook alot harder & get better 60ft. times out of her. Wouldn't be too big of a deal either. Just a friendly suggestion....... ENJOY!
I have been seriously thinking of going to coilovers, hopefully this winter!!!
Nice car...................White is right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Really nice car man but it would be alot cooler if it had a FORD motor in it. Chevy motors do not belong in Ford cars.

Trust me, it will be ford powered! Welcome to the site!
I finally feel relieved,I test fitted a 351 in her last night fits great, just need to change oil pans. The guy sold me this motor, believe this or not.
A 351W ford hi-performance crate motor(385 horse) for 800 dollars and all he did was keep the aluminum heads I got everything else and to top it off it is just ready for it's first oil change. It runs extremly good no problems at all.
I'm thinking I finally ran into one of those deals that somebody else always gets LOL.
I have been busy picking up parts for the car.
1.armrests
2.NOS sport mirrors
3.Racing seats
4.Trim
5.1972 license plates(whoo-hoo)
Man you made me waste half a can of "Aquanet supreme mondo hold" just to make the hairs on the back of my neck lay down again. Nice Pinto, and kudos to you for performing the exorcism on that bowtie...hehehe
Thanx ET,I guess I need something to do over the winter ;D,might just as well be a exorcism
You have a great car, and it's been a blast reading these "Pinto Creatures" comments. I am very glad the Chevy went, and now all you need is some afr 205's! Make sure you check all the previous engineering and welding, don't rely on a strangers welds that may not be bonded strenght wise! How about your brakes?
Hey ST,I was thinking of going with a set of Kaase heads on the new motor, with the brakes it looks like I will probably go with a Wilwood setup and you are very right never trust a strangers work unless inspected first.
I haven't seen anything about Kaase heads, are they a local product? How do they compare to the 205 afr? I am open to new products to me, and I love getting a value for my $$
the Kaase heads are actually Jeg's/Kaase heads only available at jegs.com,they are supposed to be the best flowing small block Ford head on the market.
Props on the great looking car! Just one tiny problem. And I don't mean any offence by it but a CHEVY motor?!? Seriously man...thats just wrong and also illegal in some states.
I guess I could have read on further before I opened my mouth about the Chevy motor. MY BAD. 351's rock! I'm glad ya switched over cause when I read it had a 355 in it I immediately got up and kicked the house cat. The girl friend didn't see the humor in it though. But at least now I can leave the animals alone. And maybe she wont cut me off! (always a plus.)
Just got my Autometer Phantom tach and speedo to put in the dash, now I have to find a instrument cluster to put them in since the car came with a aluminum plate where the gauges went.So if anybody has one let me know.
Just ordered my C-4 tranny from artcarr.com,transbrake,manual valve body with reverse shift pattern, holds up to 1,000 Horsepower. Can't wait till it gets here!!!!!! If anybody wants to check this tranny out it is in the specials section.
The tranny has arrived, the motor is back from the shop and it looks like it is time to start building the beast. The motor got bigger than expected (410 cubic inches),but what the heck.I just received my Z304 heads and nitrous hp cam from comp.
So it looks like it's time for spring to come!!!!!! :text_yb_please:
410ci .....you sly dog you! Just had to outdo me ehh. Thats it, dart block 460ci small block here i come.....TWIN turboed! ;) Sounds like your getting there, keep us posted!
It was supposed to be a 408 but the shop bored it bigger by mistake,so I just told them it's ok cuz it's bigger than Jeff's,so it's all cool LOL :hypno:

Yea.....sure ::) ;D I'm going back the other way.....351 unless my new block needs a bore then it will be a 357 Boost (8-16lbs) is the only replacement for dissplacement :)
Hopefully you havent bought the pistons yet. If i had already bought the pistons and they over-bored it, I would be ....... just a little ...... uuhhhhh..... >:(
(Jaws dropped,Drooling,Eyes the size of dinner plates) I don't realy know what to say but WWOOOWWWW!!!!!!!!! That one looks better than the red one at my local dragstrip. CONGRATS!! She is SWEET.
Yup,I had already bought the pistons and I was thinking of a few choice words, but I'm pretty easy going and I could exchange pistons,so there was not too much to get excited about.
Hey Dreambean, thanx for the good words on the Pinto,I feel the same way and I hope it turns out good. It's my dream car I have always wanted so I hope I can make it as good as it deserves!!!!
That's good you didn't get burned on the pistons. Nice ride :fastcar:
Greg,
Where are you on your ride?
Greg is working on his dash and interior he got his engine and tranny and has been workin hard on his car i kno this because i live like a mile away from him and help him out when i have time and when im not in school lol
Sorry, for the late reply.I have had a lot of health problems in the family that has kind of slowed down the progress on the car.The interior is almost finished (switched it to white and black instead of brown),then it's time to drop in the motor and tranny. Then all that's left is putting the rest of the engine compartment together (headers, radiator, ignition, etc.)
White and black is going to look sweet, I love a white interior in a ford, but i myself would be scared to have a white interior, sometimes life gets a little messy.
;D When you get the interior done: PICTURES PLEASE :exclamation: ;D
Hey guys, just thought I would update a little bit, things really slowed down on the car for awhile after my dad passed away. But,it's time to get busy again. The motor is painted and ready to drop in,Need to put the carpet in and cut for the gauges. The interior is all painted,it sure looks better than brown!!!! Thought I would give a picture of the interior if anyone was interested.
Picture of the 410 finally painted
