Title: Front brake repalcement
Post by: D.R.Ball on May 02, 2011, 03:56:54 PM
Hello, I just replaced the front brake system on my 1976 Frod Pinto and I might have a problem. The aftermarket brake rotors seem to be a bit tight, ie after doing the wheel bearing preload and tighting, the wheels do not spin as freely as before, in fact they seem to be a bit tight. I havn't got to the next step which is to bleed the brake system yet..It could be I just need to bleed the brakes and bed the pads in but I wanted to check first...This is a list of parts changed.  Inner and outer wheel bearings,  new seal ,rotor, caliper,  brake hoses etc...Also I used the Ford Book to do the job however they just seem to me to be to tight...
