Hello Pinto Group.
I have posted the Pinto meet in Pidgeon Forge Tn. on two of the Econoline groups I belong to.
I'll probally catch hell... but I thought it would help spread the word about the show!
A BIG thank you to all those who helped make this long awaited Pinto event happen.
From Pintony
I think I'm doing most of the organizing, & hey the more pinto fans the merrier!!
Mostly I just wanna see the looks on people's faces when 8-10 Pintos come cruisin down the strip!! There'll be some that'll think they're havin flashbacks from the crazy stuff they did back then. LMAO
I was going to show up, but its the same weekend as world ford challange in st.louis... o well cant win em all. :(,J.D.
;D Hey guys,I will be there.Don't know if I will have the turbo motor running or not,but if I don't I will drag it up there on a trailer.Damn I hate trailers.O well, one way or the other, count me in.Curtis
Hello JD,
I live 30 miles from St Louis Gateway racetrack. If that is what they are still calling it????
Staunton IL.
I miss the Ford race every year. I always have something going on that W/E.
This year I'll be in Pidgeon Forge.
I have my all original 1972 outside doing some tinkering with the engine.
You guys will have to promise me that you will not run off and leave me, Cuz you can measure 0-60 mph on a calendar in my Green 72. ;D
From Pintony
Geez Pintony & I thought my Pinto was slow. I need a sundial to measure my 0-60, but a CALENDAR?!?! ;D
you think that's bad?? My 78 now on her death bed would require a 10 year calendar to measure her 0-60 time!! but she's dead now & is being gutted to live on in others like her...
Now the 77 I'm getting? If I thought it would make it I'd be going, but I'll only have it for about 2 weeks when the meet comes up... We just gotta have one closer to me.
