Got tires and shocks aired up on Wee Beastie and started her for the first time this year. I didn't even have to charge the battery. She[/size] made her first trip of the year, with a run to Walgreens, K-Mart, and No Thrills. I was reminded that a turbo-4 is not a V8, you got to wind it a little. I celebrated the success with a grape soda and fruit pie.....
I took the studded snow tires off my 78 yesterday, cleaned up the carburetor (which was actually very clean after six months of neglect), and fixed my loose clutch pedal.
Thats not the only thing that got sprung. My tank sprung a couple pf leaks too! I just said that I didnt need to worry about it for a while too! Always the way isnt it!
Just changed fuel sending unit rubber fuel lines and up the right front tire and drove her around the yard tomorow is plates and insurance
