Im in the process of removing the cylinder head on my 1975 2.3L and was thinking about replacing the camshaft with an aftermarket one that makes more low end power. Any suggestions? Im hearing talk about using a ranger roller cam. Any idea what year ranger cam would fit my '75? and what all goes into the swap? I really know nothing about camshafts but figured now is as good as time as any for some modifications due to everything being so accessible. Also, is there any other maintenance/modifications that i should do while the head is off? Thanks for the help!
rangers 89 to 94, mustangs 89 to 93, iirc after those years of rangers the cam is still usable but the roller followers arent because the valves were changed from 11/32 to 7mm
