Anyone going?

I'm going to drive the Mazda out there... The Pinto definitely won't be ready.

Harley, what time/day are you planning on leaving?  I asked for Friday and Saturday off, already have Sunday and Monday off...

I was planning to run out on Friday some time and go to the show on Saturday.

Well, that won't work.  I'll have to meet up with you when I get there then.

What are you looking for at the swap meet?  I've got some extra parts.

'78 2.3 motor, 4spd tranny, 6 or 8 13" rallye wheels...  I also have a stock 2.3L clutch pak I never installed on the car before I pulled the motor...

I'll be going.. The Pinto I'll be getting won't be too pretty at that time, but she'll be there none the less.. Couldn't make it to the pigeon forge meet, but will make it to carlisle.

There is a good possibility that i'll be there. No races that weekend. and I'm less than 2 hours away.  I used to live only 7 miles from the carlisle fairgrounds.  Was weird, went to the carlisle meets all the time. When I lived there I went away on meet weekends. Now that I live back in the woods again we go as often as we can.

Silver Springs race track has a race car swap meet in the spring and fall, its only about 9 miles from the carlisle fairgrounds.  Ive seen Pinto stuff there from time to time. But its mostly mustang stuff, but you could find the 2.3 parts of your dreams there. I'll have to look and see if the spring one already happened or not.  Been too busy to keep track of things.

Cool!

You guys need any 2.3/4spd manual parts?  I need to get rid of some stuff in my garage.  I have a complete engine pull (minus the engine mounts).  I also have a clutch kit I was going to install in the car, but decided on pulling the motor instead.

Does anyone know if the clutch is the same from a 4cyl to a v-6?
