I have spark, power to everything, and the motor with turn over if I use a jump switch on the selinoid. I have power to the lights and stuff when the ignition is turned to the run position, but when the ignation is turned to the start position I have nothing. Bad ignition switch?
Thanks Tink
I had a similiar problem with my 75 pinto with a 2.3 and my 76 wagon with the 2.8 and I tried just about everything and could not find the problem. Then I finally switched out the electronic ignition module and went to a standard ignition system with points , then the problem disappeared.

I had a similar problem with my 73 and it was the ignition switch. I played with the adjustment and my symptoms changed so I was pretty sure that was the problem. I replaced it with a new one and my problem went away. If you choose to play with it, mark where it currently is before you start messing with it just in case it turns out not being the problem. That way you can return it to its original location. Good luck
Ok are you talking the switch in the coloum, or the one that the push arm goes to on the under side of the dash/coloum?
Thanks, Tink
Yes I had problems with the switch on the column.
