I just got back from the parts store to order cam bearings for my 78 2.8. The store showed no current listing or part numbers.They even called their warehouse and no luck. They list cam bearings for the early 80's and later 2.8 and 2.9's used in Rangers and Bronco IIs ,but could not tell me if they will work in the Pinto 2.8 . Does any one know?
I just did some checking and the Clevite nimber for the Pinto in SH1386S . For the Ranger it in SH1390S. I did find the bearings listed at Northern. Ill see if they have them in stock.
