Title: 2.8 to L4OD
Post by: skunky56 on February 10, 2011, 10:41:31 PM
Anyone have info on installing a L4OD to a 2.8. Possibly using a Ranger/Bronco bell housing?
Any thoughts on this project?

Do you mead an A4LD auto overdrive? I belive the earlier ones had less computer control that the later ones. Not sure about that you would have to check it out.

Yes L4OD sorry wrong term... the 2.3 version of the AOD it's built up and ready to go. I would love to put it behind my 2.8 in my wagon. Having an overdrive is nice on the highway.
