Steele Rubber Products now has the 1971 to 1975 HOOD-TO-COWL SEAL available. It comes with the metal clips installed. Being a former drag car, the seal was missing from my 72. I purchased the seal and the spacing for the clips is correct and is a good fit.. So if your seal is torn or needs replacing, here is a good source.
Steele Part # is 70-3350-42
Curious, how much are they asking for it?

The price for the Steele Rubber part # 70-3350-42 is $34.00. And like I said the clips are spaced correctly and it is a correct fit.
I looked at the SSC Enterprises part from the link provided in the earlier reply. The picture provided for that part does not have the correct number of metal clips, nor are they all in the correct position. However that might just be generic picture of a cowl seal.
The Steele Rubber part # 70-3350-42 has the correct number of clips (10) and the last two on the drivers side are correctly spaced close together as are the holes in the cowl.
I have purchased other products from Steele Rubber for my 76 Vega and am pleased with all their products. Fit, ease of installation and performance of any part must also be considered.
