The 76 Pinto wagon I'm buying only has on chrome plated mirror on the driver's side.
I want to install sport mirrors on both sides of the car. Both of the sport mirrors are cable adjusted. On the passenger side door, is there a mounting plate spot-welded to the inside of the door to attach the sport mirror to? If that plate is there, the trick will be to locate where to drill the smaller holes for the mirror attachment screws and the larger hole for the remote control cable to pass through.
I wonder if there are holes in the front of the door and the cowl for the cable to pass through?
For the cable through the door there should be rubber plugs for the cable to pass through. As for the door location all you can do is make measurements to approximate where to mount it, by measuring the driver side & drill the holes.
If you want, I could make some 'paper' templates and send them to you.
Let me know.

When you come by here with your new 76 new to you I can install some aircraft 10-32 rivnut's for FREE to mount your mirror as I did the other day on this 73. Fred :)
