I have been driving my 79 wagon for 30 years now and want to know if there is anybody that
specilizes in rebuilding these lil motors....I would love to just buy a complete stock ready to run motor.
Dose anyone have a one ? my old motor has developed blow-buy and im thinkin wont make the trip to carlsie pa !
I have a couple of great running motors in parts cars ...and some cores....Anybody help me !!
Jim:
There are several places in big metro areas that usually have "rebuild/flat exchange" fees for these motors; you give them your motor, they provide a refurbed long or short block depending on your needs. While I cannot address your vicinity, I know there are at least two rebuilders here in the Dallas, TX area, and prices are fairly reasonable for rebuilds. Best wishes.
