Title: 77 spark issue HELP
Post by: Pup70 on January 25, 2011, 03:42:44 PM
I have a 77 cruiser wagon that i have rebuilt the 2.3 and after initial start up it will no longer start. I have replaced the ignition mad. and coil i ran through all the trouble shooting steps in the book and i still have no spark at the coil.  when you first turn the key on it will throw a spark but when cranking it will only do it once in a while but will not start the car I've been working on this thing for the past 7 weekends and i would really like to get it going any help would be great.

could possibly be the ignition switch not providing power in the crank position, but I would bet the module crapped out. both are pretty cheap and easy to fix.
