Who wouldn't love to own that??
I hope to hear (read) what it goes for !
Sale is the 26th ?
Didn't see any proof of Gliddens ownership! There have been several clones for sale over the years that looked very real.
I remember that car. Glidden had it at the Winter National Warm-Ups at Irwindale Raceway back in '76. I was an 18 year old kid who just stood there all day in awe of Glidden. I stood there so long I think Glidden felt somewhat uncomfortable (or compassionate) and he started talking to me. I was so stoked! BOB GLIDDEN was talking to "me."

I was at an NHRA event in Pa in the mid 80,s. you could walk in the prep area before the hit the track. I walked up to Bob and he signed my hat. I have no idea where it is now !
It got up to $210K :hypno: but the bid went on. It will be interesting to see if it does sell after.
What if...we just built our own and stuck one of John Krass new boss nines in it? they start out at 800hp on pump gas. that would be a ride.

I wanna help! :amazed:
You saw that Gearz episode too. Man I want one of those big Boss motors. That thing was sweet, it would turn a Pinto into the next Mizar with one of those.

I think you're talking about Kaase, and yes it's badass!

I'd even spend the time to shoehorn an old worn out FE in it!

Anyone know what it went for ? I cannot find that info through the link.
