I had a dream, last night, that I drove to Carlisle for the big Pinto event! For some reason we were stopped in a neighborhood and I was taking apart the back seat and rear deck area. Everyone left to get back on the road and I had no idea until I looked up to see everyone had already gone. I started to put the car back together and Brian came back in his red hotpants Pinto to wait until I was finish and we joined back with the Stampede together.
Later we were all driving down the interstate in some big city and met at another PCCA member's house located on a steep hill. We stayed the night there, the wife of whoever it was was very nice and we all had our sleeping bags out on the living room floor. A few of us kept sneeking out to the garage to admire a Pinto the member and his wife owned and were going to take to Carlisle with us in the morning.
This makes me wish, even more, that I could go! :'( :'(

OMG Dave! I had a Carlisle dream last night too... only WAY weirder.
In the dream I was packing last minute things in Ruby (blankets, cell phone, ipod and radio, etc.) but forgot to make accomodations for the animals. :o Then Ruby turned into my Grandmother's Honda Accord, and she, Aunt Norma Jean, and I were gonna do the Carlisle trip. :look: Then the TV was on ( ??? ) and this Civil wAr soldier (from some New York Militia that wears gray) and he was flirting with me! :lol: The TV show became reality and I had to fall in this company. The gray-clad flirty commander (he never actually said anytrhing to me, but his not-so-subtle looks made me blush :P ) had me and the other people who joined up wear these bright orange T-shirts and we marched in formation towards Carlisle. Then we stopped in this convention center-style building to a living room display. :cheesy_n: Then my alarm woke me up. Very weird.
It's so funny at least two of us had Carlisle on the brain last night. Dave, I hope I didn't hijack your thread. I'm sorry if I did. It was just the funniest coincidence. I hope your fortunes change for the better so you can go. ;D
I'm thinkin' he wants it to at least have a "like" button. I can't imagine why... ::)
lol. I thinks a like button would turn this into a social networking site. In a way it is, but I don't think we need those features here! :P Besides, writing out what you think is much more personal. :)

Cool, man Cool. Awesome dreams, it is like the ghosts of Pintos long gone are speaking to us.
Dave, No worries man, there is still time to make the trip if things align in the universe. And we will have two way radios and each others cell phone numbers, so no fear of being left behind.
