today I went to napa and bought an air cleaner. I said it was for a 2 barrel carb, and they thought they'd tell me it wouldn't work. I took it home with me, and it fit like it belongs there. cleans up the engine too! I just can't wait until it gets warmer so I can do some body work on it. I'm gonna spray some rattle can paint on it for now, and when I can afford it, I'm gonna have it painted at a shop. does anyone know where I can get a dash pad for it? it's a 77.

Hi Krazi,
If you scour eBay, you may end up lucky and find a good used dash pad. Dash pad from '71-'78 will work. A quicker alternative is a plastic dashcap that glues over the original dash pad and those can also be found on eBay for a reasonable price. They look pretty good when installed properly, but they do not have the softness of an original padded dash. There are also companies that can rebuild your dash pad, but they can be pretty expensive!
