Title: 2.3 N/A to 2.3 Turbo Pinto
Post by: Cheeseliner on November 25, 2010, 06:48:37 AM
HI. i just had a couple of question on a 85 2.3 Turbo motor transplanted into my 75 Pinto. Do i need to switch oil pans? Ive noticed that the stock 75 motor has the sump in the front and the turbo motor has it in the back. Also, if i do have to switch them can i just switch out oil pick up tubes with out any problems? Thanks for any advice. Kenny

-oh, Ive got an extra 88 TC 2.3 motor (locked up) if anyone is interested.

Thanks Pintoman. I appreciate it. Its kinda scary doing the transpant. The ole 2.3 thats in there runs like a champ. I will get a gasket kit and swap them out prior to putting the T in it. Happy Thanksgiving. Kenny
