Hi all:
Fresh coat of paint on my cowl yesterday, Delstar factory color enamel/reducer/hardener (pics on my project thread tonite). Sprayed absolutely beautiful, has great gloss and flowout, but I >did< get some dust in it. Paint experts, need your inputs here:
1) How do I address the dust issue after the paint dries? How can it be effectively removed/addressed/reduced?
2) Temps are in the 70's - until Thanksgiving. What can I expect for a "dry" time?
3) Can enamel/should enamel be wet sanded/compounded/buffed? I know you can do this on a factory color coat, but what about a fresh coat of paint that has fully cured?
Inputs helpful here, thanks guys/gals.
Chris
I wouldn't do anything for at least a couple of weeks. I've never worked with anything except acrylic enamels but I see no reason you can't wet sand and then buff to get the finish you desire. Tread very lightly and you should be okay. Good luck!

Get a nib remover. It will only take off the dust high spot first then wet sand and buff it.
