Title: Help, cam followers

How the hell do I change the lifters in the 2.3?  I have one that won't pump up and I don't have a clue how to get the follower off so I can replace it.

Is the head on, or off the car?

you can get the tool for it or just use a sturdy screwdriver..... turn the cam lobe straight up and use the screwdriver under the cam placing it next to the lobe and lifter youre working on and pry down on the retainer of the valvespring until the follower is loose enough to pull out.... done it many times that way.
