The comment about your Pinto with all those high dollar cars made me   smile. I put my 73 wagon in the Kool April Car Show in Redding with 2000   other high dollar sleds and was totally amazed at all the hundreds of   comments I got along with all the photo's that were taken of the car.   There was a cruise night the Friday of the meet and boy did we get lots   of great comment's and asked several times to stop for photo's. It sure   is great being a part of something as unique as the PCCA.  Pinto owners   are a notch above and our rides definitely get a great response wherever   we go.  :drunk:

In the Car Shows, Cruises, etc. column look at my after-show comments on the Vista Rod Run thread. It echoes the same sentiments as you guys' experience. I love the smiles my car got! They made my day for sure! ;D

My favorite is when a high priced Lexus or Mercedes pass by and the two superficial adults don't give it a secod glance, but then you see the little face in the backseat starring at the car, smiling and wanting.  Children are real and they like what they see, it is unfortunate to think though that life will most likely change that child into the superficial keeping up with the Jonses person their parents have become.  But for a while, the Pinto reveals the true innocense, and the looks and smiles tell the story, from the backseat of luxury.
