Title: Look what the mail lady brought me!!!
Post by: blupinto on October 19, 2010, 10:10:19 PM
Hoo boy have I been a bad girl! lol. Darn ebay! Darn spending tendencies! lol!

Except for the great magazine (oooh I want a Red Baron Pinto complete with WWI Flying Ace Snoopy!) the other stuff- spare (authentic) Ford keys and glasses (hey they SORT OF have Ruby on them!!!) are ebay finds. I REALLY need spares for my cars and I'd just as soon have real Ford keys. I HAD to get the glasses, you know... ::)   Ummm... there's a vintage gray Breyer poodle prancing over here in the next few days too... ;D

I couldn't help but laugh, Becky... I purchased NOS Ford key blanks for my Pinto too... and for the F-150, and NOS Lincoln keys for my two 1979's (one standard set, and one in the special woodgrain Collector's Series style).  I had them cut and use them regularly because they look so much better than the worn old keys I got with the cars!  I also have the same drinking glass (only one) - saw it on eBay several years ago and simply couldn't pass it up!  Do you have the 1972 Pinto matchbook, or the letter opener?  I picked those up on eBay too, along with the wristwatch, the boxed battery-operated Pinto promo, and various and sundry other collectibles!  The most recent Pinto-related thing I bought on eBay was one of the Old Navy shirts.  I don't have an Old Navy store close by and by the time I finally got to one, they no longer had the shirts.  That's when I started watching eBay and sure enough, one eventually popped up in my size.  Paid more for it, of course, but I got it... and that's the main thing!

Dwayne

I have those glasses! They are in my fine china hutch.   I also have an un-opened Pinto poker set, complete with Pinto playinh cards and Pinto poker chips. Some day I might learn to play that game. Ah, e-bay, A Pinto persons best freind.  :read:
