Looks very cool - but is it really worth 5k in that condition? Does its rarity warrant the price? Curious...

He is probably trying to get back some of the money he shelled out for the V8 swap he wanted to do.  Nice looking car, from the outside.

Make him an offer with out the V-8 stuff. The car would lose all its value with a V-8 in it.
