Chris, did you get your magazine yet? look on the back cover where you see that nifty Pinto display: The two-sided display thingies flanking the Ford Pinto "banner" (ok I confess- I don't know what these things I'm describing are! lol). The two sided thingies that have a three (or at least two) dimensional kicking foal say "Put a little kick in your life". Aren't those cool!? C'mon Chris- I know you weant one too! ;D Oooh but I do love that lil' yellow Pinto with the black vinyl-top.
Got mine today too but have only had time to leaf through it so far! Will make time to sit down and read it cover to cover tomorrow! At first glance, it looks like another first-rate job! Thanks Matt!

Well, after a good night's sleep I got up early (for me - I'm NOT a morning person) and read the latest Pinto Times while I sipped my morning coffee. Matt, you have done it again! Excellent!
I especially enjoyed the articles on your visit to Ford Headquarters and the Red Baron Pinto photos you discovered in the archives. It's a shame the car was apparently never produced, but what a concept for a clone! If I had a red '71 coupe with black interior, that would be the route I'd go (Ruby Redhot, are you listening???). I have been to the Henry Ford Museum and can tell you from firsthand experience, it is WELL worth the visit.
I also found the article on the Packard Museum to be interesting and entertaining. If I ever find myself anywhere close to Dayton, it will be on my to-see list!
All of the articles were interesting and well presented, and I'm especially looking forward to seeing Norm's Boss Pinto in Carlisle next year.
As for the article I contributed about my 1974 Runabout, it marks the first time my 17-year-old son has ever read any of my published work. He attributes that to the fact it's only one page, not the 300+ pages of my novels. Oh well! :rolleye: :lol:
The newest edition is fantastic, as always! Keep up the good work.

Dwayne, I read that too... that would've been SO cool to have a Red Baron edition! I love Snoopy- especially as the WWI Flying Ace. I wonder why they shelved it...? What I need is another red '71... so I CAN have a Red Baron. Meanwhile, I gotta keep Ruby RedHot the way she is. We'll see...

Stopped by my parents today and found this wonderful issue in my stack of mail. Actually it was the ONLY thing in my stack of mail, and a great surprise! :D
