Is it my faulty memory or were their red Fire Department Pintos in the late '70s and early '80s? Usually the plain Jane models. I think a I saw at least one in Ames, Iowa and Omaha, Nebraska.
That would make for a great picture. Follow me to the fire! :hypno: Ranks right up there with project Phoenix and the Sept 11th debut of the Pinto. I read an interesting statistic, that as many people dies in Pinto fire (27) as died due to Pinto transmission failures. :read:
