were do i start in finding a rag joint bushing? any sites you guys like to use. or is it ias simple as napa?

Most auto parts stores should carry a generic version aka (help) that will work.  If you do a search here for rag joint I think someone posted part numbers.

Ok thanks for the link i bought the part. For a back yard mechanic how long do you estimate this to take. and on a scale for 1-10 how hard is it?

If you have the headers I do, about a 20.  :lol: . Really, it shouldn't be too bad, you might need some u-joint ratchets though to get in there.  Also try turning the wheel to get better angles.

The first time I did one took me a couple hours.  I found it easier to remove it with the column and then fix the bushing.  The second time took me about 30 min, it went real quick.  Both cars were 4 cylinders.  I imagine V6 cars would be about the same.
