I am looking for exterior and interior parts for my 1972 Pinto 2 door sedan.  Since there are many more sources of Mustang parts, I was wondering if the Pinto parts I am looking for also have a Mustang source.  I am looking for a drivers side seat belt, inside rear view mirror, drivers door outside mirror gasket to name a few.

Or is there another known Pinto parts source that I sould know about.

There are a lot of interior and some exterior parts from a Mustang II that interchange with the Pinto.  Did you want a list?

What color seat belt do you need?  Do you need the buckle too?

The car is an old drag car and I am returning it to the street and trying to make it as street legal as possable.  Need the complete Drivers seat belt and all the hardware including the buckle.  Color is BLACK.  Seat belt warning buzzer/light is not an issue.

The other issue is the emergency brake.  It was completely removed (handle, cables, brackets) when the big 9 inch rear with disk brakes was installed.  Instead of the emergency brake handle there is the handle for the parachute.  So I will be looking for an ebrake handle and will have to mount cables and brackets for a disk ebrake.

There are other issues but those are the worst safety wise.

I would very much like to see a list of PINTO/MUSTANG II interior and exterior parts that I could pick from.

map light dome light
steering wheels
ebrake handle
ebrake cover on non console cars
shifter
door locks knobs
window cranks
door handle
seats are a little different but they use the same tracks
rear view mirror

exterior

sport mirrors
hood hinges
Ford emblem letters

I will look thru my seat belts and find one for you.  Give me a couple days.

Really appreciate the help.  And I do need some of those parts you listed.

I knew going in that this was not going to be easy to make this car street legal.  But I only have so many years left in doing this stuff and well this car will realy turn heads and be admired even if it is a Pinto.
