Title: 74 2.3 Header???
Post by: Glitch666 on September 19, 2010, 06:04:35 PM
These are the only headers I can find that doesn't have the shitty egr   hook up(I got rid of all the crappy EGR stuff long ago). Will one of   them fit without issues?

I had the RW header on a dirt track car but it doesn't have a collector. IIRC the outlet is 2-1/2". So depending on your exhaust size you may have to adapt down. The Summit is for a ranger so.......? But it is more of a street header w/ a collector.

I used a ranger header on my 75.  Note the ball collectore necks down to 1 3/4 tubing BUT if you cui it off and add your own flange it will 2 1/2 " tubing.

Got my Header today and installed it. Fits fantastic, and man does the 2.3 sound good with an open header. I have to drive over to buckys today and have them weld up a purple hornie on it!!!!!

Ok, so I took her to buckys and and had them weld up a 27 inch cherrybomb glasspack on with a nice little side pipe coming out right in front of the back tire. Man does it sound good, not to quiet or to loud its just right and has never ran this good or had this much power. Its was only $110 for all of this so I was presently surprised. But now when I tap the gas it will actually break the tires loose and start spinning them. Thanks for that pic by the way thats an amazing header, im glad I was able to find one.
