Well im very new to ford 4 cylinders, so i have a few dumb questions. I have a 2.0 in a sand rail that i grenaded. It ran incredible, so im tempted to rebuild it, or i may liik for a 2.3. Does the 2.3 have the same bellhousing bolt pattern? What about intake and exhaust manifold bolt patterns? I have an offy intake and a header i would like to reuse. Is the 2.3 the same block just with bigger guts? My 2.0 spins to the moon, and that works great in the dunes, will a 2.3 spin as high? Thanks in advance for any answers
2.0 and 2.3 are totaly different nothing interchanges
i was afraid that might b the case. so is there anywhere to get performance parts for the 2.0?
None that I know of. Racer Walsh and Esslinger stopped selling 2.0 stuff years ago. Sometimes e-bay (kinda rare) or check w/ pintony at turbopinto.com. Sorry, I'm keeping all of my 2.0 stuff! ;D
What kind of 2.o stuff were you looking for ?
In a dune buggy you just might think about installing a duratec motor ??
What is the set up in the 2.0 motor you blew up. And, why do you think it blew up?
I had a turbo 2.0 in a buggy, turned 10k rpm and on Alky ran 28 lbs boost............ :o
