Title: Madison WI VFW car show
Post by: flash041 on September 11, 2010, 05:00:35 PM
I just got back for a car show at the VFW in Madison WI.The weather started cloudy, but turned into a beauitfull day! Lots of great reaction and talk about my car.One local guy came because a friend called him and told him there was a Pinto there! He is in process of building a custom cruising wagon 1976, orange, with a turbocoupe 2.3 ! I told him about our site. Lots of great cars, more Fords that others including a 57 custom Fairlane and model A on either side of me.

The Pinto Stampede sign shows up really well.  That is one cool '57 parked there beside you!  I'm a bit partial to any 1957 model because that is my birth year.

yes it does , and a lot of people stopped to read it.There were  over 100 show cars and as many spectators cars as well. The guy with the Model A was even drested in a period suit! My old regret is that I did not play him the Pinto commercial with the Model A in it. How many times does a Pinto and Model A park next to each other at a car show ?
