Title: Nuetral safety/Back up lights wiring
Post by: Bigtimmay on September 04, 2010, 03:23:33 PM
I need to know what wires go to what in the nuetral safety/back up lights wiring harness. Gunna have to cut and splice it to my needs.

Its out of my 78 bobcat which originally had a C3.

The harness has a white wire a black wire and 2 red wires with blue tracers.

black and white are the backup lights and there will be a plug commin off the trans to splice these into.   the two stripped reds are the nss.   it used to be in the trans i believe not on the pedal.   just jumper the two together and eliminate it.   or wire it to a pin switch you can reach with the left hand. turn the key and reach under to hit the starter button.   good antitheft device.
