???What do you do when the little inserts come out with the screws
Unfortunately, that is one of the results one experiences with the age of our Pintos. It's a little more work, but what I have done in the past is remove the door panel and put nuts with large washers on the inside. I generally use stainless steel screws and nuts so I don't have to worry about rusting. Hope this helps.

You can also go to a mustang supplier and get the inserts for the early mustang,works great.
