Do you have your original window sticker? If so, we need you! If not, do you want one? Please read on...
As you may know, Marti Reports ( http://www.martiauto.com/index.cfm (http://www.martiauto.com/index.cfm) ) reproduces original Window Stickers for Ford Products, including the Pinto. HOWEVER, they have an issue: They don't have copies of the original Pinto Window Stickers, so they can't re-do the artwork. They try to make a sticker that looks original in every way, and even contains the exact options of your specific car, based on your VIN and their database, which they obtained from Ford.
So, they are asking us to poll members to see if anyone can scan their's and send it via e-mail. Their art department will reproduce it.
Please help your fellow Pinto Club members if you have a sticker!
i have a scan i got from ebay a while back i can send if it will work
phil
Thanks, Phil!
Bob
i found it but it is for a bobcat - lincoin mercury division
i have a larger version it will work
Thanks, Phil. This one's a little small to see. If you have a bigger scan, that would be great. I can ask Marti Reports if they will use it for formatting purposes and substitute Ford for Lincoln.
So far, no one else has responded, so this may be all we get. Too bad...if even one person has one, we can start getting our window stickers.
Thanks again.
Bob
so does it look like a factory window sticker or not??
I think so, but it's a little small for me to say for sure.
ok try this

I have the original one from my 1977 Cruising Wagon. It is in my safty deposit box but I can get it and get a copy to you if you are interested.
DBSS1234...that would be great! All we need is one of any model and we're good to go!
Thanks, Phil! We may be able to use this or part of it. I think I found a copy of a blank sticker. This will help show what the print should look like.
Thanks again,
Bob
Great news...Marti Reports has been able to use some original window stickers to create a new, authentic "blank" Pinto window sticker. Using your VIN, they can re-print a sticker exactly like your original, with all the correct options.
Mine was finished on Friday, and is in the mail. I will let everyone know how it looks. Assuming it's what they say it is, perhaps we can get a discount if multiple club members purchase. Please let me know if you would be interested so I can give them a count.
Thanks very much to Phils Toys and DBSS1234 for helping out with this effort!
Got my Marti Report today: A perfect 10 - Marti Rocks!
I got:
1) New window sticker - graphics and everything look just like the original; all the options are correct too. My Pinto cost $5,547. That was a lot of money in 1976!
2) Deluxe Report - Lists all kinds of interesting info and statistics about my car.
I will scan both later today and put them on-line.
Highly recommended! Get yours at:

Beicholz,
I am curious to know if anything on the report states your vehicles rotation number. This is a number assigned to the car in production line order, nothing to do with VIN. This number appears handwritten in numerous places on your car.
Is there anything very unique to the production of your car, such as...left front fender was damaged on the line, replaced.......anything like that.
Thank you in advance,
Dave
Original74
Kevin,
I don't remember seeing a rotation number. But I will check.
Sorry to get so picky, but does it state the exact date the car rolled off the line? The reason I am so curious is that I have 2 1979 cars that are only a few thousand apart in VIN. At the production rates, they should be about a week apart. Just wanting to know if the Marti report is that finite.
Thanks again,
Dave
Dave,
I looked and don't see anything about a rotation number. And yes, it does state where it was manufactured, the date the parts were staged, the date it was scheduled for assembly, and the actual day it rolled off the line.
I will post it later this week or maybe tomorrow.
Bob
Excellent. Thank you for your trouble Bob. I look forward to seeing your report.
Dave
how much did they charge you for it? dave
