Fairmonts had 14" wheels from the factory. Bolt right on to a Pinto. Go for it.

The only ones that I know of that were 14" are the 73 Mustang ones but they are five lug.  Mavericks had a 5 lug 14" as well.  I have never seen a 14" factory 4 lug slot.  I think he is wrong, they look like 13" wheels.  Just my opinion.....

I have owned 2 Fairmonts. One a '78 & the other an '80.  Both were equipped with 14" 4 lug wheels that had / have the same bolt pattern as the Pinto.  These were steel wheels.

I do not recall if there were any slot type 'mags' available as an option in a 14" size at that time.  I don't think there were.

Dick is right though; if they really are what they are said to be then you should grab them up.  The pic is real fuzzy.  See if you can get a clearer pic.  Maybe you will be able to read the size on the tire.

I'm no expert, but I do not remember those wheels ever being offered on the Fairmont/Zephyr line.  O course, I could be wrong... I don't remember what I had for dinner last night either! ::)

According to my '79 Fairmont and Zephyr dealer brochures that type wasn't offered, but it's possible the forged aluminum wheels weren't included. I personally never saw a Fairmont, Zephyr, or Fox-body Mustang wearing those forged aluminum mags- and I was a car-watcher from Waaaaaaaaay back. ;D
