My turbo Pinto construction essay was one of the first online and I ground to a stop on the project about 4 years ago after getting the car basically running and had a fabrication problem installing a rear anti-sway bar. The good news is I've found a way to finally mount the bar and am getting enthused about getting the car running again. Hopefully old fuel has not contaminated the system and once I get a battery for it, I'll be tuning it again.
your essay is what inspired me to build a turbo pinto!!! was using it as a reference guide this weekend. lets see some pics of the swaybar!!!!
Car has been on jackstands for almost 5 years and it's finally outside on its wheels! I think it looks good with slot mags even though the tires are shot. First thing to do is open the hood and check things out and get a battery hooked up and see if all the work I did is still good.
So far, so good! Glad you're getting back to it and that you got off to such a great start!
